I think you(Fox Searchlight) should distribute our film because your company have made box office hits with the previous movies that you have distributed before. You are a company that can take an independent with a budget lower than other distributors and make a film that can make millions world wide. Another reason why you should distribute our film is because your company have done well with British independent films which you will be very useful for making our film a hit. You have also made a coming of age film Juno which was on a low budget and you made over a million in profit so your company fits the criteria to distribute our film.
I hope you will distribute our film and make it a success by using marketing skills so you can attract a big audience such as Using teaser trailers, social media and billboards so the film can attract an audience and so they can see parts of the narrative which will make want to see more of the film.
The institution that we have chosen to distribute our film is Fox searchlight pictures which they are an American distribution company within the Fox entertainment company, a sister company of the larger Fox studio 20th century Fox. We have chosen Fox to distribute our film because they have done many Independent British films which can relate to our own film such as Juno. Another reason why we have chosen them to distribute our film is because they are a big company that have made millions from the big Box office hit Slumdog Millionaire. From this company we can attract a large audience because of the film they have distributed and this can also help us to gain an audience in a America because the company is American.
